American European geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD & T) is the common name of ASME Y14.5 standard issued by ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers). It provides a series of symbolic Engineering Languages for accurate and accurate description of product functions and is the technical language for engineers to communicate with each other. Most of the engineers of the business units / subsidiaries have not received the systematic training of this course, and European and American customers are more concerned about this requirement. Therefore, on the first weekend of the training month in September, FTH Training Center organized a two-day special training on American and European geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD & t) in Hangzhou Dahe Binjiang No. 2 factory.
Two months before the start of the course, the training center conducted repeated course research on various business units / subsidiaries of ft (Hangzhou) and decided to cooperate with OMAC (Shanghai) Consulting Co., Ltd., which has a good reputation in the industry. Yu Jichang, a senior consultant of OMAC China, served as the course lecturer, and Yu was the representative of GD & T Standard Committee of American Society of mechanical engineers; He is also a senior expert in GD & T certified by ASME. He used to be the coordinator of GM's global GD & T drawing quality audit process and the GD & T internal trainer of Pan Asian automotive technology center. He has long paid attention to and participated in the update and discussion of ASME GD & T and ISO GPS related standards, and better understood the practical application requirements behind the update of relevant standards, so as to be more effective in training Relevant technical difficulties can be explained in depth during the consultation process.
The trainees participating in this training are the design, quality, process and related personnel of ft (Hangzhou) companies involved in European and American business, who need to know, use and draw drawings. 77 people signed in for the training. In class, Mr. Yu didn't have too many gorgeous words, but his classroom explanation was combined with the actual product cases of the group companies, paid attention to the interaction with the students, and expressed the abstract and boring professional knowledge in simple terms, so that the students wanted to hear, understand and gain. It is no exaggeration to say that during the two-day course study, Mr. Yu guided everyone to pay attention to the product functions expressed behind the dimensioning, not only the drawing itself, but also solved the professional problems encountered at work.
From the training feedback survey after class, 31 of the 35 participants in the survey rated the teacher as excellent, and the other 4 were good, reflecting everyone's high recognition of Mr. Yu's course; Mr. Yu also thanked everyone for their cooperation in class and their seriousness in learning from the questions raised by the students in class. I believe that after this training, we can gradually digest the knowledge learned in the classroom into our practical work in the future, so as to provide continuous support for the continuous development of the business of each company of the group.
